Teach your dog to interact

Kirsty currently runs three dog socialisation and training classes, puppy classes and advanced classes, to help dogs learn how to interact with each other in a controlled environment. These classes are designed to be fun and relaxed, so no need to feel judged or embarrassed, whilst also learning new techniques and training.

what’s involved?

The classes cover commands such as sit, stay/wait, leave, heel work (on and off the lead), recall (not coming back off the lead), loose lead walking, retrieve, stand, watch, tricks, clicker training, whistle training, fun agility and flyball and enrichment games and activities to keep your dog’s brain stimulated. There are also advanced classes for dogs that want to progress further with their training.

how will these classes help?

The classes are designed to socialise your dog with other dogs and to get them accustomed to day-to-day distractions. All training is done with positive, modern techniques and we cover lots of role play, to help you face daily situations when walking your dog outside and helping with general obedience inside.

Well behaved children are more than welcome to attend with parents. It is important for children to learn how to train their dogs and know how to have a positive relationship with them.

Prevention is better than cure, so even if you have no issues with your dog why not start some training to prevent anything happening further in the future.

Classes cost £40 for a 6-week course. These classes are extremely popular, and spaces must be booked in advance.

agility / flyball

This takes place in a local field in the summer months. I do however include fun flyball and agility in some of my training classes. These are fun classes, that are great stimulation and exercise and are not competitive, so everyone can have a go. Please contact Kirsty for further details.
